Writer/Director John Cleland commissioned Greasy Pig Studios to illustrate some 28 pages of storyboards (about 150 frames) for his highschool football script, 4th and 1, in order to be able to successfully pitch how the dramatic football scenes could be shot on a low budget.

Cleland claims that producers were extremely surprised and pleased when they skeptically asked about the logistics of the shoot, and Cleland whipped out the storyboards as a surprise.

The boards were entirely illustrated in Adobe Photoshop and delivered as a PDF.

Note: the final storyboards also included annotations that are not visible in the pictures provided.
