Written by Derek Stricker, Deer Season is a short horror/dark comedy directed by Arvin Bautista. It stars Leon Acord as Morton Scheinberg, a meek tax accountant whose car breaks down during a routine foreclosure in the middle of nowhere. Desperate, his only hope of surviving the night is Hank (Christopher Stone), the nastiest looking mountain man you’ve ever seen.
Produced by Bryan McKown and Ryann Lauckner and shot in color 16mm with a budget of about $13,000 dollars in the fall of 2005, Deer Season went on to screen at film festivals around the country:

In addition to directing, Arvin Bautista also designed the title and credit sequences, concept art and photo editing, as well as designed the poster and DVD cover art for Deer Season.
